Children with Special Needs in Education
– … Bush’s No Child Left Behind Act of 2002. This act issued a series of standardized tests and reissued the importance of every child receiving an education which they deserve regardless of their circumstances. Special education has taken large strides of improvement in the past century, but more work still needs to be done. The word “special” tends to have a negative connotation. Unfortunately, educational funding for technology has failed to take precedent. In realizing that, the question then becomes, how is a country expected to thrive from the use and advancement of technology, when failing to properly train future leaders….
Children an Special Educational Needs
– … From this I was able to celebrate and be a part of this amazing organization for a day and see all the leaders who dedicate their time to just becoming a ‘buddy’ to an individual with special educational needs. I learned the importance of helping individuals try to fit in to our judgmental world while allowing them to be confident in their own unique ways. I will be participating in the event again this year but instead, I will be involved in the bike 30-mile bike race to raise more money than the year before….
