Seven Roles of Chief Legislator: Barack Obama

– Chief Legislator is supposed to be the highest position in the United States. Otherwise known as the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama currently holds that position; however, there is a lot of conflict between Obama and congress which is putting a damper on future plans to help improve the country. The government is setup so there is equality within the system, Congress and the President go hand and hand even though sometimes it might not work out the way it was planned. Sometimes the outcome can all depend on the views of the President and Congress….  

Biography of John Adams

– John Adams, was born in 1735 in a small town known as Braintree. In 1751 John Adams was accepted, and began to attend Harvard even at a young age John Adams had a strong drive for fame, but he was also humble from his childhood and his father. 1755 John Adams became a Schoolmaster for young boys and girls. One year after in 1756, John Adams began his legal studies to become a lawyer. In 1758 he was accepted into the bar in Boston Massachusetts. In the year 1763 John Adams publishes newspaper pieces under the name “Humphrey Ploughjoggers.” In 1764 John Adams gets married to his wife Abigail….

– Term Limits For Legislators When the Constitution of the United States was adopted in 1789, it was without direction regarding term limits for legislators. At the time, professional politicians were unheard of, and the idea of someone serving for more than one or two terms was unlikely.
