– Levi Coffin was a well-known abolitionist, and a very important individual to the success of the Underground Railroad. Dictionary.com describes an abolitionist as a person who tries to stop or get rid of any law or practice that is harmful to the society (“Abolitionist”). Levi Coffin was that and much more. He and most of the people involved in the Quaker religion believed that all men were equal and it was his divine purpose to do everything in his power to help. Levi took it a bit further than most….

– The media effects coupled with predisposers, precipitants and facilitators can have dire consequences on their own, but the last subject for mass murderer that demands attention is mental illness. The statue is of a male who looks to be athletic someone who works out. The statue is standing in a contrapuntal position; it has its left leg slightly bent witch causes his foot not to be flat on the platform under him. That position helps the statue stay balance. It is not rigid. The statue has no facial expression. It is serious. It eyes are deep and expressionless….

– … Gru is portrayed as a villain through his actions in numerous scenes such as when he is walking down the path and the little boy’s ice-cream has fallen out. Gru blows up a balloon and pops it in the boy’s face leaving him shocked and scared. Besides from the actual events of the film, the directors have used techniques to make Gru seem very unlikable. The directors have altered Gru’s appearance, making him very unattractive, and even the house he lives in is undesirable. Once Gru adopts the three little girls, he becomes very protective of them….

– Lucretia Coffin was born on January 3, 1793 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Lucretia was a women’s rights activist and was opposed to slavery. Lucretia grew up to be a women’s rights activist, religious reformer, and abolitionist. She was strongly opposed to slavery and was devoted to her work as an abolitionist. As she became older, word spread that she could speak in such a way that could convince her audience to join her anti-slavery boycott; however, there were people that were against the idea of ending slavery and would continually challenge her beliefs…. ;
