– … this drink was thought to be their cure for diarrhea, dysentery and to be an aphrodisiac. the aztecs believed that wisdom and power came from the fruit of the cacao tree. the cacao beans were used for currency, when aztecs would conquer tribes, they demanded to be payed in cocoa. records dating all the way back to 1200 C.E. show the details of cocoa delivery forced on all conquered tribes. later on, the cacao tree had spread during the age of colonialism, so did the cacao bean and so did chocolate itself….

– Stereotyping – I Was a Teenage Trouble-Maker The time was the fall of 2000. It was my senior year, and we were in our fourth hour home economics class. My best friend and I were about to finish up our two-day presentation on how to bake and ice a cake. Now, with the class and the teacher watching intently, we proceeded to ice the two layer chocolate cake with our bare hands. The entire class broke out with uncontrollable laughter; needless to say our teacher was fuming. Well, to make matters worse, we cut her the biggest piece of cake….

A frequent motif is that people are not what they appear to be. Dahl’s works for children are usually told from the point of view of a child, and they typically involve adult villains, usually women who hate and mistreat children, and feature at least one “good” adult to counteract the villain(s)…. ;

The nutritional information on the label, two tablespoons of Nutella which is the serving size contains: 11 grams of fat, 21 grams of sugar, 15 milligrams of sodium, 22 grams of carbohydrate, 1 gram of fiber, and 3 grams of protein. A total of 200 calories. When protein being 3 grams compared to the 21 grams of sugar in Nutella it’s hard to perceive it as anything, but unhealthy…. ;
